Marlborough – Barbara (DiCiaccio) Demos, 60, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, surrounded by her family.? She was the wife of the late Christopher Demos, who died in 2007.

She is survived by two daughters; Jennifer Smith of Marlborough and Michelle Taylor of Marlborough; one brother, James DiCiaccio of North Carolina; four beloved grandchildren, Haylie, Jamison, Shaylyn, and Christopher; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Linnell.

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 4, at 9 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home, 95 West Main St., Marlborough, will be held Monday, March 3, from 5 – 8 p.m.
