Northborough – The law firm of Mirick O”Connell held a “$5 Jeans Day” fundraiser Feb. 14 in support of the Northborough Free Library's pajamas drive. Employees were allowed to wear jeans if they made a donation to the library's participation in a state-wide drive to collect pajamas for children in need.? Donations were sent to the Cradles to Crayons organization.

“We established the “Mirick O”Connell Gives Back Program” a few years ago to highlight and promote firm-wide community involvement,” said Diane M. Power, a Northborough resident and executive director of the firm. “The purpose of the program is to support smaller, community-based fundraising initiatives so that we can really make an impact in bettering the lives of those in need throughout our Worcester, Westborough and surrounding MetroWest communities.”
