Program to be held for caregivers for those with memory loss

Region – The Metrowest Alzheimer's Partnership will present “Memory Loss is a Family Affair” Saturday, April 5, at the Callahan Senior Center, 535 Union Ave., Framingham. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with light refreshments. The program runs from 10 to 11 a.m. The speaker is Dr. John Zeisel, president and co-founder of the Hearthstone Alzheimer's Family Foundation and Hearthstone Alzheimer Care. The presentation is designed for family members, friends, professionals or those caring for a person with memory impairment. Topics will include communication techniques and management of challenging behaviors.
