Shrewsbury – A hint of spring took place at the Shrewsbury Public Library March 18 when the Shrewsbury Garden Club presented “The Life Cycle of the Frog and Toad” to its junior members. Martha Gach from the Audubon Society taught the members the differences between frogs and toads. Members created diagrams of the frog's life cycle from egg to tadpole to frog and painted toad houses from coffee cans to place in their yard to attract beneficial toads.
