Westborough soldier earns aviation wings

Westborough – Pvt. Paul A. Blanchard Jr. of Westborough graduated from U.S. Army Boot Camp in Fort Jackson, S.C., Nov. 21. From there, he headed to Fort Eustis, Va., for Advanced Individual Training (AIT). On March 25, Blanchard graduated with high honors and received his aviation wings and is now a certified mechanic working on Black Hawk helicopters. His parents are Robin Whitney-Read of Worcester and Paul A. Blanchard Sr. of Webster.
