Shrewsbury Women’s Club presents scholarships to local students

Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Women’s Club (SWC) recently presented scholarships during their annual meeting and luncheon at Wachusett Country Club. Cassandra Rousseau and Jenna Troio, both seniors at Shrewsbury High School, each received a $1,000 general scholarship. Rousseau will attend Boston University as an education major and Troio will attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a biomedical engineering major. Education Chair Mary Ellen Killelea presented the awards.

Evan Frohock, a senior at St. John’s High School, received the Mary Griffin Scholarship of $1,000. Frohock will attend Loyola University as a pre-dental major. Director Nancy Trotto presented the award.
