Northborough – Thomas H. Minnucci, 100, of Northborough, formerly of Fayville and Marlborough, died Friday, May 16, 2014 at Beaumont Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center of Northborough, after a period of declining health.?He was the husband of Barbara (Lange) Minnucci of Northborough for over 64 years.

Born in Fayville, Tom was the son of the late Ignazio and Antonietta (Giove) Minnucci. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He?attended the former Peter's High School in Southborough and worked for over 30 years as a foreman for Hygrade Food Products, the former Deerfoot Farms. He then was a foreman for Austin Industry of Marlborough until he retired.

He was the oldest member of the Fayville Athletic Association, where he enjoyed playing bocci and card games and attending social functions. He bowled with his brothers for many years on the bowling league. He was an avid reader and Boston sports fan.

Tom was quite a dancer and danced up until the last few months of his life. He also enjoyed his four years at Beaumont in Northborough, where he participated in the annual poker tournament and the other recreational events.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Sandra Ludwig and her husband Don of Marlborough; four brothers, Rudy Minnucci and his wife Moira of Shrewsbury, Raymond Minnucci and his wife Betty of Southborough, C. John Minnucci and his wife Nancy of Upton, and Olivio Minnucci and his wife Gigi of Framingham; two sisters, Esther Putnam and her husband John of Grafton and Mary Moore of Northborough; two grandchildren, Christine Ludwig of Boston and James Ludwig of Arlington, Va.; and a sister?in-law, Ruthie Minnucci of Marlborough. He was predeceased by his two brothers, William Minnucci and Ernest Minnucci; a sister-in-law, Delores Minnucci; and a brother-in-law, Carl Moore.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, May 19, from 4 – 8 p.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, May 20, at 10 a.m., at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Rd., Southborough. Burial will follow in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.
