Jean P. Moore, 84, of Hudson

Hudson – Jean P. (Larivere) Moore, 84, formerly of Marlborough, died early Wednesday morning May 21, 2014 after being stricken ill late last week. She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Edward and Eva Larivere, and lived in Marlborough and Hudson all of her life.

Mrs. Moore worked many years for the Data General Corp. in Marlborough as a group leader.

She is survived by four sons, Ritchie Moore of Hudson, Jeff Urato of Shirley, Jay Urato of Vermont, and Dan Urato of Gardner; one daughter, Ann Buxton of Framingham; one sister, Eloise Santella of Marlborough; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Andrew Urato, and one granddaughter.

Her funeral will be held Friday, May 23, at 9 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will be at a later date.  Visiting hours at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough, will be held Thursday, May 22, from 5-8 p.m.
