Northborough/Southborough – On May 15, the Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (NSPAC) hosted its fourth annual “Go the Distance” special education awards?ceremony at the Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) cafeteria in Northborough.

The event attracted over 150 attendees, including the award recipients, their guests, and the families who nominated the special people who have made a difference for their child. Amongst the attendees were ARHS students in culinary arts class led by Candace Loughlin, who baked beautiful cupcakes to donate for the event.

Algonquin Gives Back student volunteer group engaged children at the event with various activities, and an ARHS student musician volunteered his time to play his cello at the entrance of the cafeteria.
