SHS Alumna still performing “outstanding” deeds via research in India

Shrewsbury – Last year, as a senior at Shrewsbury High School, Jen Tylock earned academic and athletic awards, and was honored as one of Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services” “Outstanding Youth of Shrewsbury.” She also won several scholarships, including one from the Jewish Guild for the Blind, which required meeting criteria such as academic excellence, community involvement and legal blindness.

Hudson woman memorialized with fund for her children

Hudson/Marlborough – Contributions are being accepted for the Madi and Chase Fund for the teenage children of Maureen (Chiasson) Young of Hudson, who passed away unexpectedly June 9 at age 49. Young is remembered as a Marlborough-based real estate broker associate with a knack for networking whose business contacts frequently became fast friends. Those friends became accustomed to seeing her at various fundraisers and community events in Hudson and Marlborough.

Regatta Players return with a season of popular show tunes

Shrewsbury – After a year hiatus, the Regatta Players are returning with a summer season of two shows at the Flanagan Theater in Southgate at Shrewsbury. A cabaret and gala entitled “Broadway Classics” will be presented Friday, July 18, at 8 p.m., preceded by a silent auction at 6:45 p.m. Three weeks later, the theater group will stage the musical “Godspell.”
