Shrewsbury – Nancy J. (McDonald) Tsombakos, of Shrewsbury, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, in UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, retired school teacher John Tsombakos; two sons, John Tsombakos of Spencer and Mark Tsombakos and his wife Lynne Flanagan of Grafton; two grandchildren, Cara and Andrew; and two nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Devlin.
Nancy was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Robert and Grace (Currie) McDonald. A retiree of the Paul Revere Insurance Company, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and exploring the family tree.
Her funeral service was held June 9 in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, with burial in Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
Donations in her memory can be made to the American Heart Association.
