Concert hits the right note in Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury – Southgate at Shrewsbury held a free summer concert for residents and members of the community July 8.

The weather was beautiful as the Tom Nutile Big Band performed on the lawn for over 150 seniors and their families. The band was a big hit with the audience as they ?played classic swing songs as well as more contemporary jazz hits.

Southgate at Shrewsbury will hold additional free concerts on Tuesdays throughout the summer month. They include: Dan Gable and the Abletones July 22, the Wolverine Jazz Band July 29, Beatles for Sale Aug. 5, the Reminisants Aug. 12, and 4 Guys in Tuxes Aug. 19.
