Westborough man arrested after altercations at trailer park
Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this morning:
On 7/20/14, at 6:56 PM, the Westborough Police responded to 165 Turnpike Rd., the Westboro Trailer Park, for a male reportedly riding a motorcycle around the park erratically endangering the other residents. The arriving units located an individual, Albert J. DeFelice age 52 of lot #7 standing in the roadway next to a motorcycle. Defelice was very confrontational towards the Officers. He was threatening to fight them. DeFelice walked away from the Officers and threatened another resident of the park. Sgt. Todd Rossi and Off. Greg McRae placed DeFelice under arrest for being a disorderly person. He was booked at the police station and bailed at 9:50 PM for his appearance at WDC Monday morning. He was then given a ride back to his home.
After dropping him off at his home, he was directed to go inside and not to cause any more problems. Off. Greg McRae drove off and parked around the corner from DeFelice’s home. At 10:01, Off. McRae heard loud yelling from the area and observed DeFelice in a verbal argument with a female neighbor. He observed DeFelice run at this neighbor and head butt her and then kick her in the stomach knocking her to the ground. He then threatened to enter her trailer and kill her kids. Off. McRae approached DeFelice and ordered him to the ground in an attempt to take him into custody. Defelice stepped back and threatened Off. McRae. Off. McRae struck him with his baton on the shin area which caused DeFelice to fall to the ground where he was placed under arrest. He was charged with A&B dangerous weapon two counts, threatening to commit a crime (murder), and resisting arrest. He was treated by Paramedics from the Westborough Fire Dept. for a laceration to his shin and later treated at U. Mass Hospital for the injury. He was held at the Police Dept. for his appearance in WDC Monday morning.
