Leominster: Local youth to perform in Schoolhouse Rock

Region – More than 20 youth actors from central Massachusetts will appear in Crescendo Theatre Company's production of Schoolhouse Rock LIVE! The Emmy award-winning 1970s Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon is now the basis for one of the most fun musicals ever to hit the stage. The performances are free to the public (donations graciously accepted) and will be held at the Tata Auditorium, 25 West St., Leominster, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 1 and 2, at 2 p.m. Running time is 60 minutes with a 15-minute intermission.
