Westborough: Alzheimer's discussion at Whitney Place Assisted Living Residence

Westborough – The Long Good-Bye, Help Traveling the Alzheimer's Road, will be presented at Whitney Place Assisted Living Residence in Westborough Thursday, Aug. 14 by Frank S.P. Yacino, consultant for Alzheimer's caregivers. Tours and lights refreshments will be offered from 5:30 – 6 p.m., followed by the presentation from 6 – 7 p.m.

Each challenging, changeable journey for people living with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers is unique to them. However, knowledge is power: learning how others have faced and formulated a path through the experience helps. Steadfast husband Yacino navigated more than 20 years of care for his wife and has much to share with those embarking on a similar road – and those already traveling it.

Reservations are required by calling Becky Carrington at 508-898-3490 ext. 5050. Whitney Place Assisted Living Residence is located at 5 Lyman St. in Westborough.
