Westborough: Westborough Community Band end-of-season concert

Westborough – The Westborough Community Band will end its concert season Sunday, Aug. 3, at 5:30 p.m.? The concert will be held in the auditorium of the Westborough High School, 90 West Main St.?(enter the high school from the back parking lot), and is free and open to the public.

 

The band, in its sixth season, consists of over 70 members from Westborough and neighboring communities. The music will include World of Warcraft, Give My Regards to Broadway, 76 Trombones, Gazebo Portraits, Glenn Miller and patriotic sounds, and will also? include the premier of Air for Alto Saxophone and Concert Band. The piece is composed and will be conducted by Evan Cadavieco of Westborough. The saxophonist will be Anthony Cincotta. Both Evan and Anthony are Westborough residents and participated in the fine arts music program at Westborough High.
