Northborough: Northboro Area Community Chorus begins Christmas concert rehearsals

Northborough – The Northboro Area Community Chorus will begin rehearsals for its Christmas concert Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 p.m., in the choral room at Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St., Northborough. Rehearsals run for two hours every Tuesday and auditions are not required.


The chorus, under the direction of founder Anthony Volpe from Westborough with piano accompanist David Rose from Shrewsbury, represents 16 local communities. It is supported in part with grants from the Northborough, Westborough, Marlborough, Shrewsbury, and Southborough cultural councils, which are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. New members are welcome.
