Worcester: UMass Memorial to celebrate 40 years of tiny miracles

Worcester – For 40 years, the UMass Memorial Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has cared for the tiniest patients… a good reason for a special celebration! The NICU has earned an international reputation for the TLC that helps these tiny miracles. More than 20,000 babies have been cared for in the last four decades, and the team has been a part of incredible advancements in how critically-ill babies are nurtured.

 

A celebration will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to mark the event. If your child was one of the NICU babies, come celebrate with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The event will be held on the front lawn of the Medical Center's University Campus, 55 Lake Ave. North, Worcester. Families can enjoy cake, games, face painting, and fun. Free parking is available.
