Hudson – The Hudson Rotary Club sponsored three incoming juniors from Hudson High School for the 22nd annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference. From June 27 to 29, Samantha Johnson, Haley Gaffney and Luke Saliga joined the more than 170 recipients at Worcester State University for a weekend of workshops, activities, and volunteering. They were able to pack over 10,000 meals for Stop Hunger Now and receive a better understanding of the Rotary motto: “Service above self.” They enjoyed interactive activities such as the culture walk, trust fall, and rock climbing.

The Hudson Rotary Club meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday evenings at the Old School House Pub & Restaurant for education, service and fellowship. To learn more about RYLA and the Hudson Rotary Club, visit www.hudsonrotary.com or follow them on Twitter @HudsonMARotary.
