Shrewsbury – The 2014 Saint Mary's Family Festival Pancake Breakfast will be held Sunday, Sept. 7, from 8 to 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, 16 Summer St. The event is presented by the St. Mary eighth-grade students with special guest appearances by Disney characters. Donations are greatly appreciated and will go toward the eighth-grade class trip to Washington, D.C.


The annual Family Festival, featuring games, food and entertainment, will take place Friday, Sept. 12, to Sunday, Sept. 14, also at the church. Family Fun Night will take place Friday, Sept. 12, from 6 to 10 p.m. On Saturday, activities begin with a 5K road race at 10 a.m. (registration at 8:30 a.m.) and continue to 8 p.m. Sunday's activities run from 12 to 5 p.m., ending with the Grand Raffle drawing.
