Westborough – Although the European Wax Center has 620 locations nationwide, including nine in Massachusetts, none were located in central Mass. That is, until Terri Radley opened a franchise at 290 Turnpike Road, in the Speedway Plaza, this summer.
The salon offers a variety of waxing services and products designed to help both men and women look their best.
“We offer high class service at a low cost,” she said. “We pride ourselves that our facility is upscale, clean and neat. ”
“The staff is highly trained and experts at what they do,” she added. “Most of our products are under $38.”
In fact, the company is sure that clients will love their services so much that they offer first-time customers a complimentary first session, Radley said.
Ladies may have a brow, underarm or bikini line wax and men may have their choice of a free ear, nose or brow wax.
Members of the business community gathered at the salon Aug. to celebrate its official grand opening and ribbon cutting.
“It's wonderful to welcome you to our community,” Karen Chapman, the president of the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce said in remarks to Radley and her staff. “We wish you much luck here in your beautiful new facility.”
The event also served as a fundraiser for Binkeez for Comfort, a nonprofit organization started by Susan Posterro, who is also an associate at the Westborough European Wax salon.? Binkeez provides homemade blankets nationwide to recipients of all ages in hospitals, nursing homes or hospice at no cost to them.
