To the Editor:
In Shrewsbury and Westborough, we traditionally have talented candidates for public office. In the current race for State Representative, we are fortunate to have two individuals who share a strong commitment to our communities.
Having said that, I would like to endorse Jason Palitsch as the candidate that can best provide the leadership that will move our education and economy forward. As a school committee member, Jason has clearly demonstrated his ability to work as part of a team to improve our schools in a variety of ways, including lowering class sizes. Working with the school administration, school committee, town officials, town meeting, and the community at large, he played an important role in building the consensus critical to securing funds needed to improve the schools and to build a brighter future for our students.
Jason also has the organizational and managerial skills to work with businesses and the private sector to promote economic growth in our respective communities. As a young yet experienced leader, he creates new ideas around economic development that will foster growth in existing firms and support the addition of more local entrepreneurs and their startups.
Regardless of your political ideology, I hope you will join me in voting for a committed leader and consensus builder —Jason Palitsch.
