Marlborough: Library to host Plant Propagation Workshop

Marlborough – The Marlborough Public Library will be hosting a Plant Propagation Workshop Thursday, May 27, from 6-7:30 p.m. Garden centers are bursting with beautiful annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees, but filling your garden from these nurseries costs more than most people can afford. Learn how to garden for less with seedlings, divisions, cuttings, etc. from your friends and neighbors and your own garden.

Gretel Anspach is a Trustee of Mass Hort, a Lifetime Master Gardener, past-president of the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association, and a systems engineer for Raytheon. She is also a member of the Garden to Table committee at Mass Hort and helped to establish and maintain a food production garden at Raytheon that has provided fresh produce to the Marlborough Food Pantry for five years.

The Marlborough Public Library is located at 35 West Main St., and parking is in the back on Witherbee Street. For more information, call 508-624-6900.
