Shrewsbury Rotary Club seeking photos of former local businesses

Shrewsbury – The Rotary Club of Shrewsbury is collecting photographs of local businesses that have operated in town, and since closed, within the last 35 years for use in its 2016 fundraising calendar. If you have photos you would be willing to share, contact Rotary Fundraising Chair Jason Palitsch at jasonpalitsch@gmail.com. The club is interested in both originals and high-resolution scans. All photos will be properly credited, and originals will be returned.

The Rotary Club of Shrewsbury, part of Rotary District 7910, is a service organization and official club chapter of Rotary International. This will be the club’s third fundraising calendar; in 2015, the organization produced the Spag’s-themed calendar that proved to be a runaway hit. The Rotary Club of Shrewsbury meets every Monday (non-Holiday) at 12:15 p.m. at the Post Office Pub, 1 Ray St., N. Grafton. For more information, visit the club’s website www.shrewsburyrotary.org.
