Region – SpencerBANK participated in Lee National Denim Day Oct.2 to benefit the American Cancer Society. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, employees raised $500 to support the fight against breast cancer and help improve the lives of those affected by the disease.

During Lee National Denim Day, employees were encouraged to contribute $5 or more and in return for their donation, were allowed to wear jeans and the color pink for the day.

“One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime, so when the opportunity arises to support the fight against this disease, our employees are eager to work together and participate,” said K. Michael Robbins, president and CEO of SpencerBANK.
