Obit-Flag_USE-THIS-ONE4Marlborough – Patric M. Whitelaw, 62, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015 after a long period of failing health. He was the husband of Pamela (Olsen) Whitelaw to whom he was married for 25 years.

He was born in Waltham, the son of the late David and Sylvia (Burne) Whitelaw, and lived in Marlborough for the past 15 years after spending much of his life in Natick.

Patric was a United States Navy veteran, serving from 1972-1975 and was a life member of the AMVETS Post 79 in Natick. He worked with his brother, Scot, as a mason at Affordable Masonry for many years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Michael Messom of Marlborough; two daughters, Jacqueline Messom of Clinton and Alice Whitelaw of Marlborough; one brother, Scot and wife Linda Whitelaw of Marlborough; a sister, Diane Scott and husband Matthew of Colorado; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Ashley Whitelaw, and a brother, Michael Whitelaw.

His funeral was held Monday, Oct. 26 in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home of Marlborough. Burial will be at a later date.
