Algonquin football tops Shrewsbury

Northborough – The Algonquin Regional High School Tomahawks football team defeated the Shrewsbury High School Colonials by a score of 28-7 in a game played Oct. 30.

Max Cerasoli and Billy Polymeros each rushed for a touchdown, and Ryan Barry threw touchdown passes to Colin Robinson and Gavin Boyden in the victory. Shrewsbury’s lone score was a touchdown pass from Drew Campanale to Brian Moura.

Algonquin improves to 5-3 on the season with the win while Shrewsbury falls to 2-6.
