Westborough – The Westborough Professional Fire Fighters Local 3070, conducted a boot drive Oct. 24 at the rotary in Westborough Center. During this event, firefighters collected $3,775. After the drive, a citizen then made a donation of $1,225 to round off the total collected to $5,000. Funds raised will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Massachusetts and the over 2,000 families served to support their needs and for research to help find a cure.
