Westborough – The Westborough Board of Selectmen and Municipal Building Committee have announced that the grand openings of the new Westborough Fire Station and the renovated Westborough Town Hall will both be held on Tuesday, Nov. 10. The grand opening event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Westborough Fire Station, 42 Milk St., at 5 p.m. followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Westborough Town Hall, 34 W. Main St., at 5:45 p.m. The public is invited to attend both ceremonies and tour the buildings.
The following town departments will move into Town Hall Friday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7: Assessors, Board of Health, Board of Selectmen/Town Manager, Buildings and Grounds, MIS/GIS, Recreation, Town Accountant, Town Clerk, Treasurer/Collector and Veterans’ Services.
The Town Hall will be closed to the public Monday, Nov. 9, to allow staff time to unpack.
