Westborough – Virginia E. Dow, 91, of Westborough, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Alson M. and Ethel M. (Booth) Dow. She was a graduate of Classical High School in Worcester and Westbrook Junior College in Portland, Maine.
Virginia was employed as a clerk at Guarantee Bank in Worcester for many years prior to her retirement.
She was a former member of the West Dennis Community Church and had been a resident of Westborough for many years, previously living in West Dennis and Worcester.
Virginia is survived by one brother, Richard H. Dow and his wife Mary Jane of Powder Spring, Ga.; one sister, Marjorie A. Bolen of Shrewsbury; and many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 16, at 10 a.m., in the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough. Burial at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton will be private.
