Worcester – Joyce (Harvey) Myers, 66, of Worcester, formerly of Marlborough and Hudson, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2015 at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus in Worcester. She leaves her loving husband of 37 years, Frank D. Myers of Worcester.

Joyce was born in Framingham, daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy (Kimbal) Harvey. She was raised in Hudson where she attended local schools and was a graduate of Hudson High School.

Joyce was a gifted homemaker and was proud to raise her children and care for their home the majority of her life. In her spare time she enjoyed watching movies, especially from the collection of horror and action films she collected over the years. Her true passion in life was being with her family and especially later with her grandchildren. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Kimberly Young-Paul of Maine, Laurie Young of Maine, Marisa Young of California, Nicole Myers of Maine, and Jamie Myers of Worcester. She is also survived by her four sisters, Barbara Duplussis of New Hampshire, Irene Quinn of Maynard, Linda Fournier of Colorado, and Jean Smith of Marlboro; her two brothers, Kenneth Harvey of Waltham and James Harvey of Hudson; five grandchildren; her great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Donald Harvey.

A memorial service and celebration of Joyce’s life will be held Friday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may attend calling hours Thursday, Dec. 3, from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
