Shrewsbury – Did you know that walking for as little as 30 minutes a day can reduce your risk of coronary heart disease, improve your blood pressure and blood sugar levels, elevate your mood, and reduce your risk of osteoporosis, cancer and diabetes? Plus if you walk with others, it makes the time go by faster and is fun!
Join Dr. Nadana Kansra and other people looking to improve their health at the next Walk with a Doc event which will be held Saturdays, 9-10 a.m. beginning Dec. 5 at Saint Vincent Hospital, 123 Summer St., Worcester.
Those interested should come a few minutes early to register in front of the lower level atrium in front of the waterfall.
This program is open to all and is free.
