Southborough – Clyde W. Buzzell, 73 of Southborough, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 at his home where he had lived since he was 4 years old. He was the husband of Wendy (Clark) Buzzell for the past 29 years.

Born in Concord, he was the son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Neary) Buzzell. He was a 1960 graduate of Framingham Vocational High School, automotive division and served in the National Guard from 1964 to 1970.

Previous to his job with the town of Southborough, he worked for a small engine repair and service company in the late 1960s to early 1970s, and was later a water works specialist for five years. In 1977, he went to work for the town of Southborough as a mechanic, retiring after 31 years of service in 2008.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his two children, Jennifer Calef of Southborough and Michael Buzzell and his wife Stephanie of Charlton; his five brothers, Harold of North Hampton, N.H., Donald and his wife Linda of  Northborough, Warren of Palmer, Norman and his wife Kathy of Northborough, and Philip of Westborough; two grandchildren, Laura and Jameson; and many nieces and nephews and many good friends.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, from 9-10:30 a.m., at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A funeral home service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.
