obit kevin anthonyNorthborough – Kevin A. Anthony passed away peacefully Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, surrounded by his loving family, after a year-long struggle with esophageal cancer.  He just turned 70. His wife, Cecile M. (Gregoire) Anthony, died in 2003.

He leaves behind his loving daughters, Denise Bacon and her husband Arthur and Heather Musorofiti and her husband Christopher; his six grandchildren, John, Zachary, Jaclyn, Sarah, Gabrielle and Anna; his sister, Barbara Beaumont; his brother, Charles Anthony; and five nieces. He was predeceased by his grandson, Nicholas Cremins, who died in 2001.

Born and raised in Marlborough, Kevin was the son of the late Arthur and Teresa (Smith) Anthony.

Kevin was a mover for Poplins furniture until 1970. He retired from Sealtest/Breyer’s Ice Cream, formerly of Natick, in 2008, after 37 years of dedicated service to the company. He retired as a foreman.

An avid camper since the 1970s, he was a member of NAFCA camping group Idle-not 169. He later became a seasonal camper at Indian Ranch in Webster, where he enjoyed 19 years of concerts, parties, and great friends that became family. He was an official “roadie” of the Goat Ropers Band.

Calling hours will be held Monday, Dec. 28, from 5-8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St.,Northborough. His funeral will take place Tuesday, Dec. 29, at a time to be announced, in the funeral home. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in Howard Street Cemetery.
