Hudson – William “Bill” Peter Marrama Jr., 55, of Hudson, passed away at his residence Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, with his loving family at his side. He was the beloved husband of 24 years to Jane (Staniunas) Marrama.
Bill was born and raised in Hudson, son of Mary E. (Garcia) and the late William P. Marrama Sr. He was a graduate of Hudson High School, class of 1978, and a graduate of Worcester State College. Bill was a financial analyst for General Dynamics for over 30 years.
Bill had many interests throughout his life, including biking, cookouts, cruises and vacationing with his wife, Jane, in Falmouth. He loved watching Johnny Carson, Frank Sinatra, Buddy Hackett and big band music. He also enjoyed politics, especially Ronald Reagan. Bill’s real passion in life was the weather, and he had a weather station is his home.
Along with his mother and wife, Bill is survived by his mother-in-law, Pat Staniunas, and his sister-in-law, Christine Fellrath and her husband Richard.
Family and friends may attend calling hours Tuesday, Dec. 29, from 5-8 p.m., at the Tighe – Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson (www.tighehamilton.com). A service will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m., in the chapel next to the funeral home. Burial service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
