Obit Richard L. TracyMarlborough – Richard “Dicky” L. Tracy, 65, of Marlborough, passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 after a long illness.

Dicky was born in Bangor, Maine, son of the late Leo and Virginia (St. Louis) Tracy. He grew up in Southborough and moved to Marlborough in 1968 after graduating from Algonquin Regional High School.

Dicky worked as a die cast manager at Hudson Lock Company in Hudson for over 35 years. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved watching the Patriots and Red Sox.

Dicky was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle, and will be dearly missed by everyone.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Tracy of Shrewsbury; his sister, Deborah Henderson and her husband Russell of West Boylston; three nephews, Scott Abrahamson of Shrewsbury, Gary Abrahamson of Frisco, Texas and Keith Savoy of Shrewsbury; and his niece, Kristy Gagne and her husband Christopher of Franklin. His sister, Cheryl Abrahamson, predeceased him.

A funeral service and celebration of life will be held Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson (www.tighehamilton.com).  Burial services will follow in Evergreen Cemetery of Marlborough. Family and friends may attend calling hours Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
