Westborough – Emlyn (Iannone) Amato, 65, of Westborough and formerly of Northborough, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Bertonazzi.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Joseph A. Iannone of Florida and the late Mary T (Ezzo) Iannone.

Emlyn spent her life devoted to her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with them all, especially her cherished grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her children, Gregory Amato and his companion Elizabeth Hastings of Portland, Ore. and Damon Amato and his wife Larissa of Northborough; her stepchildren, Kim Bertonazzi of Oxford and Matt Bertonazzi and his wife Laura of Southborough; her siblings, Nick Iannone and his wife Cathy of Italy, Ralph Iannone and his wife Melissa of Southborough, and Stella Tolentino of E. Falmouth; a stepmother, Ruth Iannone; and four adored grandchildren, Chase and Evie Amato and Lillian and Jameson Bertonazzi.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 4:30-7:30 p.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Funeral and burial will be private.
