Hudson – Mark G. Stockholm, 56, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 from injuries he suffered in a fall.

He was born May 21, 1959 in Seattle and spent his childhood years living with his family in Acton. He had been a resident of Hudson since 1988. He was the son of Gordon Stockholm and the late Joy (Casto) Stockholm) and H. Dale Hicks.

Mark was the chef/co-owner for Classic Occasions Caterer for the past 24 years, servicing many events throughout the local region.

Mark leaves his loving wife of 26 years, Nadine M. (Wurtz ) Stockholm of Hudson, and was the devoted father of Tricia (Thering) Bowen and her husband John, Jon Thering and his wife Kimberly, Lauren (Stockholm) Sherman and her husband Joshua, and Peter Stockholm. He was the brother of Tracy Brown and Matthew Hicks. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Brandon Thering, MacKenzie, and Kaylynn Bowen, and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m., in Tighe-Hamilton Chapel next to the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours Tuesday, Jan. 26, from 4-8 p.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
