To the Editor:
Happy New Year everyone! I wanted to take a moment to thank Ann and Jessica Fidrych and the Fidrych Foundation for their generous donation to the Challenger Program for the 2016 year. We started Challenger Baseball a few years ago. Since then we have added basketball and soccer. The Challenger program is open to all kids ages 5 – 22 with disabilities. We invite all kids from all communities to join this program. The Fidrych Foundation has been a main supporter from the beginning, contributing to all three sports. I want to send my sincere thank you and appreciation to Ann and Jessica for all that they do to support this program. We look forward to the Challenger program continuing to grow each year due to the excellent coaching and your financial support.
