Marlborough – June M. (Silva) Davis, 75, of Marlborough, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at Tufts Medical Center, Boston. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Lillian F. (Silva) Silva.

A licensed rehabilitation counselor and longtime advocate for those who struggled with addiction issues, June had been employed as the housing coordinator at South Middlesex Opportunity Council for the past 10 years. She was a devoted and active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Marlborough.

June was the happiest when spending time with her great-grandchildren, who adored her. She will be sadly missed by her family and members of the community whose lives she so deeply touched.

June is survived by her son, Edward A. Davis of Framingham; her daughters, Catherine Davis Bodley and her husband Keith of Belchertown and Suzanne Marie Davis of Westfield; her sister, Linda Allain of Marlborough; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late David E. Silva Sr.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, Feb. 5, from 5-7 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 6, at 10:30 a.m., at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 472 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Burial will be private and held at a later date.
