Westborough – Merton R. Marshall, 77, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 at the Coleman House in Northborough. He was the husband of the late Ruth E. (Seymour) Marshall.
Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late Alfred and Lulu (Morway) Marshall, and was raised and educated in Upton.
Mert was employed as a plant manager for PEXCO (now Bunzl) in Northborough for 25 years, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed playing cribbage, bird watching, and was devoted to his loving wife.
Mert is survived by his five children, Stephen Marshall of Mendon, Darlene Awad of Bensalem, Pa., Denise Kellicker of Barre, Lorri Campelo of Boston, and Darryl Marshall of Mechanicsburg, Pa. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, Feb. 7, from 2-5 p.m., at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Interment services will be private.
