Westborough – The Friends of Westborough, Inc., recently donated to the Pastoral Counseling Centers of Massachusetts. The donation will be used for financial aid for Westborough clients at the centers. This is the second year that The Friends have supported the counseling centers.

The Pastoral Counseling Centers of Massachusetts, Inc., is an interfaith counseling program with its main office in Westborough; other offices include Worcester and Hudson. They have been caring for people since 1984 and serve over 80 communities in central Massachusetts. As an interfaith counseling center, they are open to all persons and bring a holistic approach supporting a person’s spiritual life, if desired, as well as the traditional psychological understanding of human needs and relationships. The center also has an assistance fund to help those struggling financially. The program is very appreciative for contributions; they depend a great deal on the generosity of faith communities, civic groups, businesses and individuals to maintain the organization.
