Obit Euclid Leo StoneNorthborough – Euclid “Uke” L. Stone, 89, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2016 at Marlborough Hospital after a period of declining health.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 67 years, Jeanne M. (Morrison) Stone; his children, Steven Stone and wife Anne, Alan Stone and wife Nanci, and Michael Stone and wife Laurie, all of Northborough. He also leaves a daughter, Susan Letham and husband Richard of Westborough; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Dipert. He also leaves his son-in-law, Duane.

The son of Joseph and Delima (Bodreau), Euclid was a lifelong resident and longtime business owner in Northborough. In the early 1950s, he and Jeanne together established Aluminum City, a well-known local aluminum door and window manufacturing company.

Euclid was a proud WWII Naval Veteran in the Pacific theatre. He was a member of the American Legion Post 234, and the former Northborough Fish & Game.

Euclid was known by all for his work ethic – he truly lived to work. He’ll be remembered for his twinkly eyes and understated quick wit. He loved the times he spent with his wife at JP’s Pub in Westborough.

He kept horses for many years and was a lover of all animals, especially his monkeys, Willy and Wilma.

At his request, there will be no calling hours or services. For online condolences, visit www.haysfuneralhome.com.
