Obit Lillian HutchinsonGrafton – Lillian M. (Klett) Hutchison, 69, of Grafton, died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was affectionately known by family and friends as Bunny.

She leaves her husband of 46 years, Howard “Hutch” Hutchison; two daughters, Leah Hutchison-Dame and her husband Michael and Cara Hutchison Crane and her husband Jonathan; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Anna, Christopher, Evelyn, and Lillian; and three sisters, Jane Smolyn and her husband Jay, Lynn Ahern and her husband Patrick, and Mary Ellen Kundla and her husband Myron, as well as nine nieces and nephews.

Bunny was born Aug. 26, 1946 to Frank and Lillian (Decker) Klett in Elizabeth, N.J. She graduated from Muhlenberg School of Nursing in 1967. She met Hutch in 1968 when he was stationed in New Jersey, and they were married March 15, 1969 at St. Agnes Church in Clark, N.J. She spent most of her life in Grafton, raising her children.

Bunny was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was an amazing person and everyone who met her loved her instantly. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She could often be found reading a book in her favorite recliner with the kids on her lap. She was passionate about animals and her pets, especially her beloved collie Tess, and spent many years saving and rehabilitating wild animals. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also loved painting, cross stitching, and holidays especially Halloween.

Bunny also enjoyed spending time by her fish pond chatting with family and friends. She had a love for antiques much like her mother before her, and a flair for decorating.

She will be missed dearly. We all loved her deeply and are glad she is at peace with her family that went before.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Massachusetts Audubon Society, 208 South Great Rd., Lincoln, MA 01773 or online at www.Massaudubon.org, or the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130 or online at www.mspca.org.
