Region – The 32nd annual Arthur M. Sachse Lakers Youth Hockey Tournament was held March 11-13 at the Charles J. Buffone Arena in Worcester and the Daniel Horgan Rink in Auburn. The tournament attracts teams in the Squirts, Pee Wee and Bantam categories from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York and Canada.
This year’s tournament was held in memory of Claudette Lorden of Grafton who passed away in June 2015. Lorden was a tournament volunteer and fundraiser. Her three children, Patrick, Ryan and Kelsey participated in Lakers Youth Hockey. A scholarship fund has been created in her name.
