Hudson – Lorraine E. (Goss) Wilson, 87, of Hudson, died Thursday, April 14,2016 at Marlborough Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 33 years to the late John Wilson, who died in 1981.

Lorraine was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late William and Mae (Mitchell) Goss. She was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1948.

In 1950, Lorraine moved to Hudson, where she raised her family and was employed for 10 years by the Tobin Catering Service, working at the Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard.

She was a member of the Rebecca Association and was past Noble Grand Marshall of Rebecca Assembly. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her children and later on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Richard Wilson of Worcester, and was predeceased by her sons, Robert and Ronald Wilson, and her daughter, Ruth Faugno. She is survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ethel DeMeo, Ruth Lewis, Dorothy Bacon, Edith Wilson, and William Goss. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may attend calling hours Wednesday, April 20, from 4-7 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 7 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial will be held Thursday, April 21, at 10:30 a.m., in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson.
