Obit David P. MorinGrafton – David P. Morin, 33, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016.

He leaves behind his daughters, Nevaeh Morin and Kelsie Morin; a son, Jeffrey Morin; and their mother, Julie Howarth; his mother, Paula Kelliher Lord; his step-father, David Fadden; a brother, Paul Morin; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Jesse Morin  in 2015 and his father, Paul D. Morin Sr., in 2002.

David was born May 13, 1982. He grew up in Grafton and graduated from Auburn High School. Growing up, he enjoyed spending time on the lake at his grandparents’ home in Manchaug with his brothers and cousins. He loved fishing, camping, and music. He will be remembered for the way he could make anyone laugh, his independent spirit, his stubbornness and his loyalty. He loved with his whole heart and would do anything for his friends and family.

He tried for many years to overcome the addiction and mental illness he struggled with. He wanted to recover more than anything, and though in recent years it became harder for him to fight, this was not due to weakness, lack of desire or lack of love for his family.

All are invited to gather with David’s family Saturday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton, followed by a remembrance service at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Please honor David with a memorial donation toward his memorial services to The David Paul Morin Memorial Fund, c/o Homefield Credit Union, 86 Worcester St., North Grafton, MA 01536.
