Westborough – On a sunny Saturday, April 9, the Westborough Women’s Club held its annual rabies vaccination clinic at the Westborough Department of Public Works on Oak Street. Dr. Susan Gillham and her staff from Westborough’s Associates Animal Hospital donated their time to vaccinate dogs and cats. According to club President Karen Bloom, the fee for the annual shot was $15, far less than the cost of vaccination at a veterinarian’s office.
Bloom awarded Gillham an honorary membership to the club in appreciation for her 24 years running this clinic.
“Dr. Gillham has a good heart and has been in town for a very long time,” she said. “We appreciate her service.”
This year the club made a donation to Buddy Dog in Sudbury in appreciation of Gillham and her staff.
