Last time I did, I ended up with six inches of snow blanketing my fully bloomed daffodils. What I will say is “Welcome Spring Market”. And what an interesting spring market it is.

Selectmen to revisit 61A review process

Westborough—The Board of Selectmen April 26 voted to pass on the town’s option to purchase a small parcel of land being taken out of the 61A agricultural tax exemption program, but also made plans to revisit how they review such options in the future.

Council approves study of Walker building

Marlborough-The City Council voted at its April 25 meeting to request Mayor Arthur Vigeant to provide a transfer for $75,000 to fund a feasibility study of the Walker building located at 255 Main St.

Northborough voters find ‘common’ ground in downtown proposal

Northborough—A little more than a year after it began as an idea among a group of residents, the push to create a Town Common took a huge leap forward at the April 25 Annual Town Meeting (ATM) with voters approving nearly $500,000 in Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds to purchase and improve parcels that will be linked with existing town land to create the downtown green space.

Northborough’s Nick Krause continues pursuing a life in skiing

Northborough – United States Ski Team member Nick Krause has taken part in about 30 races this season, including a qualifying run for the World Cup in Austria. Originally from Northborough, Krause’s passion for skiing first developed in central Mass. when he made it onto Ski Ward’s team in Shrewsbury at the age of 7.
