Westborough – Shirley Tatro, 79, of Westborough, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward Tatro.
Shirley was the daughter of the late Clayton and Eleanor (Hopkins) Temple, and a lifelong resident of Westborough. She was a graduate of Westborough High School.
She is survived by her grandson, Robert Berberian; her sister, Natalie Temple Higgins; her step-daughters; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathy Berberian, in 2000 and by her brothers, Robert Temple and Clayton Temple.
An accomplished crafter, Shirley quilted and crocheted many beautiful items for loved ones; and she deeply enjoyed her friendships.
A private funeral service was held May 2 at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, followed by burial at Pine Grove Cemetery.
